Caleb's Cocoa Cafe Returns This Holiday Season
'Tis the season for giving! That sentiment is not lost on Neidig 3rd Grader, Caleb Byelich, who last year raised nearly $1600 to give to a local homeless shelter. Caleb is at it again this year, and will be hosting "Caleb's Cocoa Cafe" this Sunday, Dec. 22, from 2-5 p.m. The address is 207 N. Ambler Street in Quakertown, and the event is rain or shine. Everything Caleb sells costs $1 and all money will be donated again to a local homeless shelter.
Caleb's teacher, Mrs. JoAnn Klee, has been helping spread the word to help Caleb reach more people. The 3rd grade teacher decided to use Caleb's kindness as a teachable moment for her class of 21 students. She asked her class to bring in warm things to also donate to the same shelter. Klee is very happy with her student's response.
"He is teaching us all a little more about kindness," Klee said.
If you are out and about running errands on Sunday, stop by to see Caleb and get some hot cocoa to warm your hands and heart.
