QCEA Celebrates Retirees! John Makoul

As we wrap up the school year, since we can't celebrate in person, QCEA wants to virtually celebrate all of our retirees. We thank them for their years of dedication and service and we wish them all the best in retirement!

Name: John Makoul

Current Assignment: Strayer Middle School

Number of Years in Education: 38

Number of Years Teaching in Quakertown: 36.5

Which building(s) have you worked in? Richland, Haycock, Tohickon Valley, Pfaff, Milford, Strayer

What advice do you have for teachers? Try not to rush it. Try to slow things down and enjoy as much of it as you can. It truly does go by fast!

What are your retirement plans? Relax a bit, catch up with work at home, spend time with family, and then see where it takes me from there.
